What Is The Issue?
There might be times when you see data discrepancies between the data that is displayed in Facebook and the data that is displayed in Marin Social. Use this guide to get to the root cause of this issue.
How To Fix The Issue
- Verify that you are looking at the exact same date range in both Facebook and Marin Social.
- Then, make certain you are comparing the same objects. To do so, add in the Pub ID column in the Marin Social Dashboard; add the the Campaign, Ad Set, and Ad ID in the Facebook interface.
- If an object is missing, select the campaign where you've seen the discrepancy and press the Download from Publisher button.
After the steps above have been completed, if the discrepancy remains, please reach out to the Marin Customer Support team by clicking Help in the top-right corner of the help center. Please provide the date range where the discrepancy is visible along with the publisher ID of the object where you are seeing the discrepancy.
Note: If the Facebook token is expired, Marin Social cannot pull data from Facebook, including metrics. To learn more, check out our Expired Account Token article.
