When setting your network value, you may see this following error message:
Error: The Network combination submitted is not a valid combinations
What Causes The Issue?
If you are experiencing this issue, it is because Microsoft Advertising's Network value is set at the Group level. If you try to set the Network Value at a level other than Group (i.e. Campaign level) you will see this error.
It can occur as well when using the Smart Sync feature to synchronize changes from Google to Microsoft Advertising campaigns as the Network setting in Google and Microsoft Advertising is set at a different level.
How To Fix The Issue
Review your uploaded file and confirm that you are setting a valid Network value (i.e. Search) at the Group level for Microsoft Advertising.
In case the issue is related to synchronizing changes with Smart Sync, perform a bulk upload to set the Network value for each Group in or set it manually in the Microsoft Advertising interface.
