Introduction
Sponsored Display is a campaign type for Amazon Advertising designed to reach relevant audiences across the shopping journey – both on the Amazon website (on product detail pages or other product-related pages) and off the Amazon website (on third-party websites and apps). It includes non-endemic campaigns for advertisers who do not sell products on Amazon, like insurance or online education advertisers.
If you're new to using Amazon with Marin, please check out our dedicated article before reading more about our Sponsored Display support.
Handy Tip
Unlike other Amazon campaign types, like Sponsored Products, Sponsored Display campaigns do not use keywords.
Other Amazon Campaign Types
This article outlines our support for Amazon's Sponsored Display campaigns, but we also offer support for Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Products, too.

Grid And Bulk Fields
Once you've added your Amazon account to the Marin platform, you'll find some new fields in the platform's Column Selector. You can add any of these fields to the grid for enhanced reporting and analysis.
For Amazon sellers, you'll also be able to use these fields as bulk headers using the platform's bulk upload feature to manage the creation and editing of Amazon objects at scale. They can be used in combination with standard bulk headers such as Account, Status, Daily Budget, etc. To learn more about bulk uploads, check out our dedicated help center article.
The table below outlines some of the most important column headers / grid fields for Amazon Sponsored Display campaigns.

If you do not sell products on Amazon and are using Amazon non-endemic, use the last link. When creating a non-endemic campaign, note the Amazon Subtype column is required and must be set to “Audiences”. Marin does not support creating non-Amazon seller ads. Please create those in Amazon.

Important Notes
Below are a few things to bear in mind when working with Amazon Sponsored Display campaigns:
- If added to the grid, Sponsored Display campaigns may sometimes show values for non-Display columns such as Amazon Strategy, Amazon Bid Adj. Top, and Amazon Bid Adj. Product Page. This is simply due to a system limitation on Amazon's side, and these values can be disregarded.
